OUT OF STATE
Convicted of a DUI/DUID in the Commonwealth of Virginia but Live in Another State?
If you were convicted of a DUI/DUID in the Commonwealth of Virginia but currently live in another state, you must enroll in the ASAP program and submit the required documentation to the ASAP office.
Please read the following carefully to determine which category applies to your case.
COURT REFERRAL
- If you received your DUI conviction within the past 12 months and the conviction occurred within a county served by SWVASAP, you will need to provide the following:
- Copy of your court paperwork
- Copy of your Virginia DMV Compliance Summary
- Copy of your DMV driving transcript from the state where you currently reside
- Completed enrollment packet, provided below, returned to our office
- $300.00 enrollment fee per DUI conviction
Please note: You are responsible for the $300.00 ASAP fee as well as any costs associated with completing an out-of-state program.
DMV REFERRAL
If you are being referred to ASAP by the Virginia DMV, you will need to provide the following:
- Copy of your Virginia DMV Compliance Summary
- Copy of your DMV driving record transcript from the state where you currently reside
- Completed enrollment packet, provided below, returned to our office$300.00 enrollment fee per DUI conviction
Please note: You are responsible for the $300.00 ASAP fee as well as any costs associated with completing an out-of-state program.
VIRGINIA RESIDENT WITH A DUI CONVICTION IN ANOTHER STATE
If you are a Virginia resident who received a DUI conviction in another state, you will need to provide the following:
- Court documentation from the state where you were convicted
- Virginia DMV Compliance Summary
- Virginia DMV Driving Record Transcript
- Driving Record Transcript from the state where the DUI conviction occurred
- $400.00 enrollment fee
